I'm a casual Facebook user, but I'm beginning to have doubts about it. I wonder about who really has access to my information, and I'm not liking all the commercialism I'm seeing more and more. It seems like every website I visit (Goldivas is an exception) has an invitation to "follow" them on Facebook. No, thanks!

Yes, I'm seeing more and more negatives in the news these days. And I can't think of too many positives. Some of my friends say it's good for keeping up with family, but what's wrong with email? What are they doing with Facebook that can't be done with email?

I prefer linkedin for professional networking, there is a lot less garbage there.

Facebook has announced some changes in their setup process lately, I haven't delved into the specifics yet.

I have to admit, I get exhausted just looking at my Facebook page. And now, when I go to my bank website, I see a sign, "Find Us On Facebook" - why? I'm seeing these signs all over, and I can't imagine why I would want to find a commercial enterprise on Facebook. Does anyone?
